Shadows 

I was immediately drawn towards shadows as there are so many directions that the topic could go, for example, the photographing of still life objects and using different light sources to obscure the subject and focus on the shadow, or shoot through different materials. However, this topic feels like there is only far it can be taken as it is a very closed question and straying too far from the objective of the investigation is very plausible.  

Selected Colour 

I liked this topic as it is felt as though it had more opportunities than the title Shadows because the only limit is the colour spectrum which is limitless. I also liked this topic as I felt it would be better organised than the topic shadows and the images would look less similar as a whole.
